INFORMATION
These classic mittens - named after my son - have a great shape for the thumb and will keep your hands toasty through the seasons.
They are knitted in stockinette from the wrist to the fingertips. Firstly you knit the ribbing, then the thumb gusset and hand. Stitches are put on hold for the thumb as you complete the hand. Then these are picked back up and the mitten is complete.
There is no difference in the right and left mittens, so just repeat the pattern as needed :)
Read through the entire pattern before starting to get an overview of the various steps.
