PATTERN - Bonchie Bow Scrunchie

Bonchie - a made-up word combining bow and scrunchie.
In other words: a bow you can wear in your hair. Maybe tie it around a bun, or even wear it as a cute little neck bow.

The entire piece is worked flat and sewn together as described in the instructions.

This pattern invites you to play with color combinations and stripe thicknesses. I also love the “wrong side” of garter stitch — it gives great texture when you add a stripe here and there.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS & NEEDLES

- 1 strand DROPS Daisy, 50 g = approx. 110 m for the bow

- 1 strand DROPS Daisy, 50 g = approx. 110 m for the tie

- 4 mm knitting needles

Total yarn used for the Bonchie shown on the front: approx. 30 g including the tie.

As long as your gauge gives you a result that’s not too loose or too tight, feel free to experiment with your favorite yarns!
